BLOODY FAMILY

Wakes up in the morning, as good as he’s been taught to
Takes his private gold dust bucket, given by divine right
Now he takes a call: “It’s been days since you don’t come around
We missed you at church; I hope you come for lunch on Sunday”

Takes his well-trained shovel to generously share his power
Takes well care after his brothers, and worries for his father, processes
Grandpa’s guilt, listens and contains his mother
Offers his neck to thoughtfully feed up everybody
Empties himself, but he is such a good man, such a good son

Having filled his duties, gets back home at late hours
Takes his hollow gold dust bucket negligently disempowered
Swallows one or two pills the instructed doctor recommended
Why he’s upset? Why he can’t sleep and feels so uninspired?

Minutes became hours, and hours became days, soon days
Years he left behind, postponed his dreams along the way
Blood family “Let’s stick for ever all together!”
That`s what ‘love’ is, recycling our guilt forever
“Stay by my side, ‘cause everything I do is because I love you”

Se despierta en la mañana, tan bueno como ha sido enseñado
Toma su cubeta privada de oro en polvo, dada por derecho divino
Ahora él recibe una llamada: "Hace días que no pasas por acá
Te extrañamos en la iglesia; Espero que vengas para el almuerzo del Domingo"

Toma su pala bien entrenada para generosamente compartir su poder
Cuida bien de sus hermanos, y se preocupa por su padre, procesa
La culpa del abuelo, escucha y contiene a su madre
Ofrece su cuello para consideradamente alimentar a todo el mundo
Se vacía a sí mismo, pero él es tan buen hombre, tan buen hijo

Habiendo cumplido sus deberes, regresa de vuelta a su hogar a altas horas
Toma su cubeta de oro en polvo vacía, negligentemente des empoderada
Traga una o dos pastillas que el doctor instruido recomienda
“¿Por qué está molesto? ¿Por qué no puede dormir y se siente tan des inspirado?”

Minutos se convirtieron en horas, y las horas se convirtieron en días, pronto los días
Años que dejó atrás, pospuso sus sueños a lo largo del camino
Familia de sangre “Quedémonos para siempre todos juntos!”
Eso es lo que es el ‘amor’, el reciclaje de nuestra culpa por siempre
