THE INVISIBLE THREAD

Every time I walk around
It shows in unexpectedly, that’s how it is
And as it changes all the time
Sometimes it gets so hard to catch out or follow to
How could ‘I’ join you?
If what I want the most is flowing with you

After having spent time tracing
I must admit this rare expertise now leads my feet
Tells me where to turn at every corner
Pointing out meanings undercover
Makes me stare at simple things
Until I take notice…
Feel lifted up and then wrapped up in wonderful astonishment

How can I go further?
Left my mind behind and all these boundaries
I can’t bear much longer living
A narrow life and always hankering
Restricted all this time inside this ‘tiny lamp’
I stopped time ago trying to fit where I won’t ever…
But when I try to grasp it and pull it down to me
So I can finally figure out how to come back to it
It slips throughout and between my fingertips
And right before despair lunges at me
I start losing hope to ever find the way
To let myself melt back with it
I realize then by being quiet and still
This thread I feel goes throughout everything

LA HEBRA INVISIBLE / MÁS ALLÁ

Cada vez que salgo a dar una vuelta
Se aparece inesperadamente, así es como es
Y como cambia todo el tiempo
A veces se vuelve tan difícil de atrapar o perseguir
¿Cómo podría ‘yo’ unirme a ti?
Si lo que más quiero es fluir contigo

Tras haber pasado tiempo rastreando
Debo admitir que esta rara habilidad ahora conduce mis pies
Me dice dónde doblar en cada esquina
Señalando significados encubiertos
Me hace reparar en cosas simples
Hasta que lo noto…
Me siento elevada y luego envuelta en maravilloso asombro

¿Cómo puedo ir más allá?
Dejar mi mente atrás y todas estas barreras
No puedo soportar mucho más tiempo viviendo
Una vida estrecha y siempre anhelando
Restringida todo este tiempo dentro esta “pequeña lamparita”
Dejé hace tiempo de intentar encajar dónde no lo haré nunca...
Pero cuando trato de alcanzarlo y de tirar de él hacia mí
Así puedo por fin encontrar la manera de volver a él
Se escurre a través de todo y entre la punta de mis dedos
Y justo antes de que la desesperación se abalance sobre mí
Empiezo a perder la esperanza de alguna vez encontrar el camino
De dejarme fundir de vuelta con él
Me doy cuenta entonces estando en silencio y quieta
Este hilo que siento va por dentro y a través de todo

¿Cómo puedo ir más allá?

Me doy cuenta estando muy callada y quieta
